After breakfast Gavin asked to watch Team Umizoomi- this new show on Nick Jr that has him hooked! It's a decent show- they focus on numbers, counting, math, and shapes! Right up his alley for his age! Anyways, I think it's appropriate to use the word "obsessed" when describing his love for this show. Well, something crafty and fun came over me and I decided to make him a "shape belt" like the one Geo wears. Plus, he helped me with the shapes and glue! (I could just see his little brain growing!!!) Here's the outcome:

Oh geez!! Kaelyn is a MESS!! And I say that with a big grin on my face! So last night she didn't want to wear a shirt to bed (typical), and what Kaelyn wants, Kaelyn usually gets. Our upstairs is kept pretty warm, so don't go thinking she was cold- she wasn't! ;) However, when we came downstairs this morning she said she was cold, so I went to the dryer and grabbed her a shirt (aka: onesie). I just threw it on her, and went to change and feed Dylan... meanwhile, Logan was changing Kaelyn's diaper. He left her unsnapped (the way I put it on) for some reason... and then shortly after breakfast she found Gavin's Buzz Lightyear beanie, and man, does she look silly!
(And it's 80% my doing, not hers!)

At least Gavin's obsessed with something that is learning oriented! I love Kaelyn's outfit hahaah
ReplyDeleteOmg!!! Kaelyn is too funny!! And Gavin looks really cute in that shape belt!! Happy birthday Susan!!
ReplyDeleteI love Kaelyn's outfit. It cracks me up that Logan left it unsnapped just because you did.
ReplyDeleteSometimes you just have to rock your own style! I love it!
ReplyDeleteKaelyn reminds me of my Chloe sometimes :) Such personalities.
ReplyDeleteWe like Team Umizoomi too! "His name is GEO G-E-O" lol! Had that stuck in my head that last 2 weeks. As much as I don't like the idea of my kids watching so much tv (because I work in the morning) I'm glad she's actually learning useful stuff, ya know?? :)
She looks all gangsta in that toque LOL Cute belt, it's nice when shows actually TEACH them something, isn't it?!
